NEW IMPORT CONTROLS EFFECTIVE 30TH APRIL 2024

Please be advised that new import controls are set to be introduced on 30/04/2024 for plastic kitchenware imported via the EU. If you import plastic kitchenware from China or Hong Kong into the EU that is subject to checks this new change may affect you.

PDD notifications will have to be made to the individual PHA at the port of entry as IPAFFS is not currently available for food-contact materials. The pre-notification period for plastic kitchenware is two working days for deep sea trade. There is a derogation period of 6 hours for consignments arriving via ferry.
